Corporate Social Responsibility is deeply rooted in the mission of CMJ University. Call it good social responsibility or simply gearing the staff and students for a better role in the society. It stems from a realization that we are all part of the community, locally, nationally or globally, and how we affect the society will ultimately affect the way we live.

CMJ University emphasizes on the importance of going green. We endorse the use of eco friendly products in our campus and offices. It is also educating its employees to minimally use paper and use paperless technology such as emails and office management software.

The University also plans to run a free physiotherapy clinic in our campus which will help the local people. It will enable patients to get treatment who are unable to bear the expenses of costly hospital treatment.

The University is planning and formulating a short term course on horticulture and organic farming for the people of Meghalaya.
